Josh talks about his ever so lightly modified BMW 535i with 75k miles. It’s not quite a review, but more like a tour in high definition. Please tell us how much you love or hate his E60 video.

And here is a bonus acceleration video. Only mod is JB4. The original article is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , if you care. And you can follow him on Twitter !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

At 13 minutes long I thought I was only gonna last for a few minutes but he seems knowledgeable and works in some humor that kept me on board. Wish there was some driving in the video. Yeah, I’d watch more.

This video got me to looking at E60s on Carmax. There’s a handful of them with under 75k miles for around $25k - even a 2wd manual sport package model!

Alas I cannot, mostly because I have $0 laying around for another used BMW.

“great headlights” - no. But otherwise it is a very handsome car.

Love the APEX wheels! Need to get myself a set.

In my E90 M3, fold down seats came with the cold weather package (and as a stand-alone option, I think).

Do you know the trick about holding the iDrive controller right (or another direction) to go back to the map (or other) from another menu?

Parked Car - you can have the car vent itself at a certain time to cool it, prior to you getting into it. Crazy... never have used it.

I love my E60. I’ll be re-installing DCI’s and the JB4 this afternoon

Reinstalling? Did you remove them for a trip to the dealer?

Yeah I have an ‘09 535i xDrive and I had it on for a bit, but then took it off for a trip to the dealer. Then I wanted to wait until the warranty was up (which it is) so I’m putting them back on. Damn excited too. I miss it greatly.

FYI, my 1995 540i has the parked car ventilation system. I get off work at 4:30, so it’s set for 4:15 and it’s nice and cooled off when I get in.

I also thought it was funny that he was pretty impressed with a passenger memory seat since my car has the same.

Nice! I park in a garage at work, so it’s not an issue for me. Also, the thought of my car doing something, by itself, many hours after I’ve shut it off, just seems wild to me. I must be part Luddite...

I still think this is one of the best looking Sedans ever.

Also, Parked Car Operation lets you set two different times that the car will circulate the air in the car to prevent it from getting to warm.

I don’t mean to spam, but I like talking E60’s.

There are a ton of forums that are incredibly helpful for E60 owners. If you haven’t seen this yet, check it out... “So you just bought an E60...”. Also check out the BMWhat App that hooks up with a wifi or bluetooth OBDII dongle. Tons of programing options, and even the ability to register your battery and reset service intervals.

I’ve always liked the E60. Great lines, Bangle knows his stuff. Aside from a few design cues (the headlights are just too damn pointy) I like it. Now it’s just some aggression, powercoat those wheels black, lip spoiler on the back, maybe something for the front, done.

I was briefly considering a E60 535i RWD with the N54 engine but instead I went a bit higher on the CPO range and got a 335is with the N54 engine. Don’t regret it at all, but I do agree the 535i with the N54 is a great choice of car.
